Doing some research for an upcoming project, and I need your help!

Who on here is a member of the Oriskany Reunion Association?

If not, why not?

Jim,

I'm a fairly new member of ORA having joined just last year.

On a personal level, being a member of ORA has allowed me to make contact with two dentists who served on the Oriskany during the same cruise I was aboard for, the 1966 WestPac Cruise. Their names were listed as new ORA members in the most recent Newsletter. If I had not been a member, I would not have known where they are today or how to contact them. After 41 years, it's been great to renew aquaintences with them.

As for more reasons to join other than the possibility of renewing old friendships, here is a quote from Mark Parrish, the Secretary/Treasurer of the ORA taken from the latest ORA Newsletter:

"We financially support the Museum, the Oriskany Elementary School Library, the Oriskany Village Library and give a scholarship to an outstanding student graduating from the Oriskany High School."

Oriskany and her former crewmembers are still doing good works for the people...I urge every former crewmember to either join the ORA or to renew your membership.

Doc

I am a long time member of the ORA. If you have never been to a reunion Oriskany, NY is the best a neat little village and the people are so nice tio ORA members. The museum is great.

I have been a member of the ORA for a number of years. My Wife and I went to our first reunion last year and had a very good time.

Great to hear from you Alan! I'll get your audio on the website one of these days! I can't believe it's almost been a year! Sorry for the delay!
