|NOTICE: 12/29/2016 -At the 2016 ORA Reunion, the membership voted unanimously to split the $1000.00 scholarship that was going to a student in Oriskany New York to have one $500 go to a student in Oriskany New York and one to a descendant of a ship mate from the USS Oriskany. The scholarship is funded by the members of the Oriskany Reunion Organization so they determine how the money is spent. In this way the connection with the students in Oriskany New York continues and the descendants of a ship mate get an opportunity to keep the spirit of the USS Oriskany alive thru a descendant. You can download the application for this student scholarship by going to the bottom of the ‘Artifacts’ page from the menu above, or click on the links here. PDF version : DOCX version.
